Scott Padgett Hello my name is Scott Padgett. Welcome to Skinwerks Tattoo and Design.  I started Skinwerks back in 1995 as a window for displaying my art to the online website communinty. I noticed that alot of artist were displayin there art through websites that could be seen by anybody who surfed the internet, it was like a free magazine ad!  So I thought I thought what not a better way to get feedback and exposure without committing to a local gallery, that you know already doesn't like "clowns', "butterflies with Guns', and whatever else had big teeth that was in my porfolio.

I choose 'Skinwerks" becaused I didn't want to valentine myself with a website titled 'Scott Padgett Art'. It feels a little to Cheerleaderish for me. So I choose something that could represent myself and a industry.... Tattoo art.

Well it wasn't long before I got a bit lonely and met a local artist that represeneted everything that was missing from current generation artist. Most were shooting for final full color satisfaction yet missing years of sketching and studing. Craigs work was the complete opposite. A visual diary of a illustrator turned tattooist turned positive Icon. Why not add this link to the chain.. So in 2000 I ask Craig if he would be part of this graphic responsiblity. He agreed and so today we are 'SKINWERkS TATTOO & DESIGN'
